LINKIN PARK AT CLUB TATTOO
ClubTattoo hosted rock band, Linkin Park, for an autograph signing on Saturday, February 19. Linkin Park lead singer, Chester Bennington, is a co-owner of the world-renowned tattoo studio and retail shop. Hundreds of fans waited hours to meet all six members of the band and get their autographs. Eight fans took home the ultimate souvenir…a Linkin Park tattoo!
CABO WABO CANTINA
Cabo Wabo Cantina will host Spring Break and March Madness parties that will set the inner party animal on the loose. I can’t begin to explain how excited I am that spring is here (cue chirping birds)! Beyond the weather finally warming up and the naked trees in my yard starting to get leaves, there are new clothes and new shoes to be had (not that I need a change in season to shop)! It’s taking every ounce of control that I have to stay at my computer to write this column and not run down into Miracle Mile Shops and start shopping. I’ll have to type fast…
Here are my favorite spring must-haves that will most likely pop up in multiples in my closet.
Wedge heels
I’m tall without shoes but I love wedges anyway! They’re comfortable and you can find them in lots of fabric and color combinations. I’m definitely getting a pair of espadrilles from Steve Madden to wear with my stripes (see below) and a pair of strappy leather cork-heeled wedge sandals from Aldo to wear with my white sundresses (see below).
White
White clothing looks so crisp and clean and screams spring (the “clean” part is hard for me to maintain, but I’m going for it anyway). White House|Black Market has some fabulous white sundresses to wear with my espadrilles and loads of silver jewelry from Tous. And I have to have GAP’s white blouses – one with ruffles and one without – to wear with pencil skirts and boyfriend jeans. Note to self: call dry cleaner and tell him to get ready to keep my whites

Nautical
Even though I live in the desert, I like to fantasize that I’m cruising around the Mediterranean on my yacht with a fruity cocktail in my hand. Since I don’t have a yacht (yet), I’ll just have to wear the uniform and buy some nautical stripes. BCBGMAXAZRIA is a one-stop shop for stripes with cowl-necked shirts to wear with cropped white pants (there’s that white again) to dresses to the cutest striped mesh clutch handbag. Anchors away!
70’s Glam
I’m not sure I’m ready to embrace the high-waisted flared pants that are hot this season, but I’m all over the flowy blouses and dresses that are inspired by the 70’s. Need to get a one-shoulder chiffon dress from GUESS by Marciano and a silk scarf blouse from bebe. Now where did I put that disco ball?
